Welcome  to the American Museum of Natural History Tour.  As you work your way through the exhibits in this web quest you will see a tiny portion of what wonders this amazing building holds.  It would take days to look at all it has to offer.  This is a sampling of how civilizations share unique attributes and how ideas seem to be universal no matter who we are, where we come from or what we do to live and survive.  So come and explore, then if you can, make a trip to New York City to see what else you can learn.

Directions for this Web Quest

You will work with a partner to complete the activities in each exhibit.  You will need question sheets and pencil  to answer the questions that you find.  Once you have completed the answers to each exhibit then you and your partner will work together to create a booklet sharing your experiences.  Using the questions and answers you came up with, write a thorough paragraph about each and include an illustration that helps depict your thoughts.  Be sure your paragraphs include at least all the questions and answers.  To do a stellar job, additional thoughts of your own about the different facets of civilization you encounter should be included.
